David Van Susteren is the successful founding attorney of this growing law firm. Married with five children, he began his legal career over 25 years ago with Texas' largest legal firm, Fulbright & Jaworski.

Certified as a Civil Trial Law Specialist by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, he brings a resume steeped in experience and a passion for litigation.

David is a published attorney and a frequent speaker. He is also an active member at the local civic level.

David has the knowledge and integrity to represent and litigate cases in many facets of the law.

Dave Louie attended South Texas College of Law where he graduated cum laude in 2010.  While at South Texas, Dave competed as a member of the school’s nationally recognized advocacy program in several moot court and mock trial competitions.  Dave was a member of Currents International Trade Law Journal and served as a Langdell Scholar, tutoring students in Federal Civil Procedure and Property Law on Saturday afternoons.  Dave currently serves as an adjunct professor of advocacy at South Texas College of Law.  Prior to law school, Dave graduated cum laude from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2007.

Santiago Forero is a native Spanish speaker and is licensed to practice law in Colombia with a law degree from Universidad de los Andes. He also holds an LL.M (Masters in Law) degree from the University of Texas.  While in Colombia, Santiago was an attorney for the Universidad de los Andes where he handled matters involving employment litigation and commercial transactions and where he also taught employment law for five years.

Santiago is not a licensed lawyer by any U.S. jurisdiction and may not practice law in the U.S.  Santiago assists with briefing and motion practice working with David Van Susteren.
